For each topic area below, we provide a comprehensive treatment resource

  • Detailed comprehensive treatment planning template. This document can be readily customized for individual clients or groups. It includes major goals, objectives, treatment focus, suggestions for counselors, and links to specific A New Freedom workbooks, including behaviorally-stated objectives (and pages for each activity and objective). This plan also provides guidance for counselors with reference to additional treatment issues and DSM-IV criteria. Provided in hard copy and word processing software (on diskette).
  • Counselor’s notes supporting assessment and treatment. This material supports in-service training and guides new program staff. This document refers to specific DSM-IV diagnoses, as appropriate.
  • Checklists and worksheets supporting treatment (dangerousness assessment, symptoms checklist, stressors and triggers worksheets, etc.). These materials include suggestions for staff use.
  • Individual workbooks addressing this topic or treatment area. The typical program package includes five (5) workbooks.
